Gina B. LaLonde

Gina B. LaLonde was born and raised in Seattle, and her work reflects the unique identity and grit of the Pacific Northwest‘s distinct subcultures and marginalized peoples. Gina received a BFA in Film from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and was a Michener Screenwriting Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin. Her most recent screenplay was awarded a table reading as runner-up in the Seattle International Film Festival Catalyst Screenplay competition. Gina’s poetry has appeared in the Floating Bridge Press Review and her fiction in Raven Chronicles Journal.


Looking back, I can only remember the nickname given to the luger at those 2010 Winter Olympic Games in British Columbia: “BAM-BAM!,” they cheered. He was a favorite for gold. I can’t recall which country he was representing, just his…
