About Marissa Rose
More Poetry
One more last-call load: that fat stack of battered paperbacks
Half-packed in bootleg boxes, leftover cardboard,
Makeshift hymnals reinforced with duct-taped crosses
I wish for a reason
To remain whole
When all I want
Is to be dismantled
it was so sexy
the way she touched my
hair
